The Company
About Griffwerk
Exceptional design and more convenience around the door. To achieve this, we develop high-quality door handles and glass door systems to suit any interior design style. With our claim to always look at things in a new way and search for alternative approaches, we create innovative and beautifully designed solutions. At our headquarters in Blaustein on the outskirts of Ulm, designers and constructors work on future solutions for even more comfort at every door.
Designs by renowned designers and design agencies such as FRAME by Prof. Thomas Gerlach or the CHARACTERS collection by sieger design define our wide range of products. We are particularly proud to have the world's only licensed Ulm handle after Max Bill in our portfolio. It was reedited in 2012 as a reminiscence of the nearby Ulm School of Design in collaboration with the max, binia + jakob bill foundation (Adligenswil).
The owner-managed company was founded as Frascio Deutschland GmbH in 1999 and renamed to GRIFFWERK GmbH in 2013. At the moment, the main site in Southern Germany employs a workforce of 120. We consider our success to be reflected in our innovative power and strong customer-orientation. We develop convincing products for our customers, as well as effective sales and marketing concepts. Customer service is of the utmost importance for us, together with unusual products. Strong team spirit, commitment and joy in our work, as well as enthusiasm for interior, design and architecture, characterise the people who work for GRIFFWERK.
